The experience continues through a complete private thermal circuit alternating between hot, cold and relaxation: Nordic bath, dry sauna, outdoor shower and hammam-style steam sauna.

SENSORY IMMERSION

With a site offering the perfect topography for a mountainside setting, the brief with the architects was clear: how to create a unique, 100% elevated relaxation area at La Cime des arbres, combining architectural elegance with meticulous attention to materials and furniture design.

Spaces such as the living room, dining room, and kitchen have been cleverly positioned at an elevated level, enhancing the feeling of lightness and elevation within the forest canopy. The large, framed windows offer stunning views of the valley and the L’Assomption River. The very placement of the mini-chalet, perched on the edge of the steep slope, accentuates this sense of floating and creates an intimate connection between the dwelling and nature.

ARRIVAL

The intention was to start the discovery experience as soon as our guests switched off the engine and set foot on the ground. Whether it’s the imposing structure on stilts as you arrive at the foot of the house, or the moment you reach the terrace for the first time, we suggest you leave the luggage in the car and live your arrival to the full.

OUTDOOR LAYOUT

Discover a 500-square-foot terrace, a true haven of peace designed to offer maximum comfort and conviviality in every season. Thoughtfully designed, it features five distinct zones, each offering a unique ambiance to suit your desires. Enjoy a gas fireplace to create a warm atmosphere on cool evenings and let the patio heaters extend your relaxation even when the weather is cooler. Regardless of the weather, even rainy days become an opportunity to enjoy the outdoor facilities.

The kitchen, meanwhile, reflects our love for gastronomy: functional, spacious (for a mini-chalet), and equipped with top-of-the-line appliances that will satisfy any chef. No detail has been overlooked, from Hazaki knives and Arbol cutting boards handmade in Quebec to tableware crafted in Bedford by Atelier Trema, ONEKA soap, and much more. A true tribute to Quebec and Canadian craftsmanship.

A SHOWCASE OF LANAUDOI LOCAL PRODUCTS

Finally, we’re proud to offer the best of the Lanaudière region with a unique combination of artisan-roasted coffee, organic maple butter and pear jam. In partnership with exceptional local businesses, we offer to enhance your breakfast with our gourmet welcome basket, included by default with all stays.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

Cancellation policy

• No refunds for cancellations made 31 days or less before the arrival date.
• Full refund, less 3.5% transaction fee, for cancellations made more than 31 days prior to arrival.

Reservation policy

• The total cost of the stay, including taxes, is charged at the time of booking.
• A minimum of two nights is required for all reservations. However, it is possible to book a single night when it falls between two already confirmed stays (orphan night).
• Friday and Saturday nights must be booked together.
• The maximum stay is seven nights.
• A $500 security deposit is pre-authorized on the credit card used for the reservation.
• Arrival time: 4:00 pm / Departure time: 11:00 am
• Early arrival from 1:30 p.m. may be possible for a fee of $55 + tax.

Pet policy

• This mini-chalet does not accept pets.
• In the event of non-compliance, a charge of $200 + tax will be applied, due to the increased intensity of cleaning and the risk of damage to furniture.

Other important information

• The maximum number of guests allowed in each mini-chalet is strictly limited to the number indicated at the time of booking. Any unauthorized exceeding of this number may result in the immediate cancellation of the stay without refund.
• Arrival is completely autonomous. You will receive a numerical code for the lock by e-mail the day before your arrival.
